2009 American As Apple Pie

1st Finished Decorated Cake.
The Theme: Mardi Gras
I have been tring to finish a decorated cake since I joined the New York Guild of Chefs and finally did it. I should have finished it the week before but ended up being awake (almost - pretty much sleep walking) for 24 hours. I am happy with the results.

Pasta salad - Chinese style pasta salad with steamed shrimp, cucumber and garnished with red pepper
Hor dvores - Triple citrus gralax on a toasted baguette

Received 1st place for both
